The YouTube personality is known with establishing the YouTube video genre that is focused on extreme stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded his videos to YouTube when he was 13 years old, and was using the handle "MrBeast6000". The channel began by posting Let's Plays and "videos that estimate how rich other YouTubers were" content.
